Housekeeping Associate (Full Time)
Cedar Lane Senior Living Community has an immediate opening for a Full Time Housekeeping Associate. Days and hours may vary based on company need. Applicant will be primarily responsible for general Housekeeping duties and will fill in on Laundry when needed. Applicant must be a team player and in possession of a positive, friendly and caring attitude towards residents and coworkers and must have willingness to perform a variety of tasks. Knowledge of proper cleansing and sterilization procedure for bodily fluids is a plus.
Applicant must be honest, reliable, willing to learn and perform a variety of tasks as assigned. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis, clearly communicate both verbally and in writing, and have the ability to read.

Maintenance Technician (Full Time)
Cedar Lane Senior Living Community has an opening for a full-time Maintenance Technician. High school diploma or GED required. Position requires a minimum of three (3) years experience in facilities repair and maintenance; valid driver’s license and clean driving record; ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds (with infrequent lifting up to 100 lbs); work in confined spaces, awkward positions, at varying heights, and in extreme temperatures for extended periods of time. Applicant must be honest, reliable, and demonstrate a cooperative attitude and willingness to perform other tasks as required to support the mission of Cedar Lane Senior Living Community.
Duties include performing mechanical, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and sheet rock repairs; interior and exterior painting; responding to service requests; maintaining grounds and providing snow and trash removal; assisting with preparations for mandatory inspections and Quality Assurance programs; troubleshooting equipment and facility issues and making recommendations for repair/improvement; and working and problem-solving with a minimum of direct supervision. Mandatory weekends and “on-call” status are rotated among the maintenance staff to maintain facility coverage.
