Executive Administrative Assistant
Cedar Lane Senior Living Community is seeking an Executive Administrative Assistant to support the President and CEO. Cedar Lane Senior Living Community is a collaborative of 501 (c) (3) non-profit organizations serving seniors and disabled adults in Leonardtown, Maryland since 1977. This position will require extensive coordination, communication and interaction with the board of directors, executive team, residents and family members. The successful candidate will act as administrative coordinator for board and executive team projects, following up on pending details, coordinating activities and ensuring deadlines are met. Individual will have exposure to sensitive and confidential information necessitating considerable use of tact, diplomacy, discretion and judgment. He/she must demonstrate strong organizational, interpersonal and excellent written and verbal communication skills; demonstrate thoroughness in his/her work; exhibit follow through on projects to ensure accurate and timely completion; manage multiple priorities; make travel arrangements and submit expense reports for reimbursement; maintain calendar, schedule meetings and luncheons, maintain distribution lists and serve as focal point for communication; must be proactive and have impressive foresight to see things before being asked.
Normal work schedule is Monday through Friday; however some extended hours may be required. Minimum of three years experience providing support to a high level executive in a professional environment required. Bachelor’s degree highly desired.

Cedar Lane Senior Living Community has an immediate opening for a Part Time Laundry staff person (Approximately 25 hours per week). Applicant must be honest, reliable, willing to learn and perform a variety of tasks as assigned. Applicant must also possess a positive, friendly, caring and cooperative attitude towards residents, coworkers, and visitors to the community.
Duties include, but are not limited to: picking up dirty laundry, washing, folding and delivering clothes to residents, and assisting in other departments as needed, including Housekeeping. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
