Accounts Receivable Specialist

Cedar Lane Senior Living Community has an immediate opening for an Accounts Receivable Specialist in our Finance Department.  An integral part of our accounting team, this position is responsible for a variety of duties including invoicing and processing payments for our rental, resident services and commercial leasing operations, administering grants and contracts, and maintaining subsidiary accounting ledgers.

High School diploma required, with an Associate’s Degree in accounting or other formal bookkeeping/accounting coursework preferred.  Successful candidate must have a minimum of two (2) years of experience in an accounting or rental office, possess a high level of proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Word, as well as knowledge of general office equipment and procedures.  Good writing and math skills required.  Applicant must be highly organized, demonstrate attention to detail, have the ability to work independently, and manage multiple assignments.  Experience with accounts receivable/general ledger software required.  HUD or other rental project experience and Yardi Classic and Genesis software experience desirable.

Applicant must have excellent customer service skills, be honest, reliable, willing to perform a variety of tasks as assigned, and possess a positive, friendly, caring and cooperative attitude towards residents, coworkers, and visitors to the facility.  Must enjoy working with people, especially the elderly and disabled.

Housekeeping Associate

Cedar Lane Senior Living Community has an immediate opening for a Full Time Housekeeper.  Applicant will be primarily responsible for general Housekeeping duties and will fill in on Laundry when needed.  Applicant must be a team player and in possession of a positive, friendly and caring attitude towards residents and coworkers and must have willingness to perform a variety of tasks.  Knowledge of proper cleansing and sterilization procedure for bodily fluids is a plus.  Applicant must be honest, reliable, willing to learn and perform a variety of tasks as assigned.  Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Laundry Associate

Cedar Lane Senior Living Community has an immediate opening for a Part Time Laundry staff person (Approximately 25 hours per week).  Applicant must be honest, reliable, willing to learn and perform a variety of tasks as assigned.  Applicant must also possess a positive, friendly, caring and cooperative attitude towards residents, coworkers, and visitors to the community.

Duties include, but are not limited to: picking up dirty laundry, washing, folding and delivering clothes to residents, and assisting in other departments as needed, including Housekeeping.  Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
